With the change in seasons, the holidays, my reading has been chalked up to whatever captures my attention is what I am going to read. My poor TBR and all the books on my shelf!

Currently I am doing a immersive read my arc copy of A Sky of Emerald star. I also have I'll Be Gone for Christmas by Georgia K. Boone that I want to read that I just got. Side note, having a bookish friend and you going to a bookstore to by a book for each other is a wonderful idea... but also crazy cause we wanted all the books! But, we settled on this book to share, because it looked heartwarming, there were black women on the cover, and we deep dove to find that there was a queer story in it with one of the MCs. I shall reconvene on my thoughts!

I have also worked on my book off and on, and the need to edit keeps me from remembering that I need to write the damn thing first, lol. It's a hurdle BUT one that I am not wrestling with too much. I use the quiet of the mornings, my wax warmer, and random playlists to get me in the vibe!
